Once bitten, you’ll be forever Smitten.

Sage Fruit, Yakima, Wash., is sponsoring a Halloween-themed consumer sweepstakes to promote Smitten apples in the weeks leading up to Halloween. The contest, which started Oct. 15, runs through Oct. 28, and awards a case of Smitten apples and a $100 Amazon gift card.

Entries are through Sage Fruit’s sweepstakes web page.

Smitten, a cross of gala, Braeburn, fiesta and Falstaff apples, is bi-colored and stores well, according to a news release.
